Li-Huei Tsai is the Director of the Picower Institute for Learning and Memory at MIT. She is also the Picower Professor of Neuroscience in MIT's Department of Brain and Cognitive Sciences and is a Senior Associate Member of the Broad Institute. Tsai's lab looks at pathological mechanisms underlying neurological disorders affecting learning and memory, especially in the aging human brain. Major research areas include neuropsychiatric disorders, autism, and Alzheimer's disease.
