Looking (or not) at Yellowstone - Topic (9/63)

People look at a petrified tree in the Roosevelt-Tower area of Yellowstone National Park, Wyoming, USA. The stump is a few meters tall and is the remains of a 50-million-year-old Redwood tree, a species that doesn't grow in the area now. The stump is behind a tall fence. Decades ago, there were three stumps in the area, but souvenir hunters removed the other two.
