Colors mark different types of stories published by the newspaper: green indicates a story about guns, red indicates war, and yellow indicates terrorism. The project is part of the Civic Media group at the Media Lab and was started by Ahmd Refat and is now developed by the Center for Civic Media by Edward L Platt, Rahul Bhargava and Pablo Rey Mazon.
