Professor Donald Sadoway is the John F. Elliott Professor of Materials Chemistry in MIT's Department of Materials Science and Engineering.  Sadoway's research investigates energy storage and the efficient and environmental use of energy and natural resources in industry. His recent work has focused on a so-called "liquid metal battery" which exhibits increased efficiency and storage over other types of batteries.
